is there a trick to doing the clamshells? mine look awful strange, I think i'm on the 4/5th rows, not sure if my k2tog and yo's are correct.

That color is gorgeous! Can't wait to see your finished cardigan. :-)

What yarn are you using?

Lydia and Crochetgurl: I left comments on both your blogs, but I will repeat just in case others are interested.

Crochetgurl: I'm using Bendigo Cotton 8ply, in Damask Rose. I'm actually not sure about the colour, but it was in my stash and i'm trying to destash at the moment!

Lydia: My clamshells looked dreadful the first time round too.. but i refrogged it and when i came to the 5th row, i didnt count the yo's so much because i found that i would sometimes yo once, or yo three times.. so instead, i just knitted what i thought looked like a stitch (as oppose to a yo) and it worked out well.

Also, i'm not sure if it's just my knitting or because i wasn't really counting my stitches, but I think there might be a minor error in the pattern (just by one or two ). I was getting a really strange clamshell alignment so i frogged it and then figured out i had to deduct one or two stitches from one of the rows (sorry i can't remember which row it is now).. i'm doing the front now, so i might recall again shortly!
